Getting started

Two one-day TPRS workshops, one four-day FluencyFast class in Arabic, and two week-long NTPRS conferences--I'm feeling like an advanced beginner at TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling), gradually building my repertoire for 3+ years. And I find it the most fun and exciting and creative and effective way I've ever taught language, at any level. I'm the only language teacher in my division (K-5) and the only TPRS user at my PK-12 school, so am hoping to connect with others through this blog and other online networking opportunities.
